ArcPad 10.0.2 Now Available
ArcPad 10.0.2 is now available for download from the Customer Care Portal.
With this build we have fixed bugs and introduced a few new tools:
- Map Annotations
- ArcPad App Shortcuts
- ArcPad toolbar editing (on the desktop).

Did anyone consider that users may who don't have maintenance may want to know about bug fixes so they can decide if it is worthwhile for them to upgrade? This information should be easy to find and access for everyone.

There are still quite a few bugs in this release especially related to photos. This process needs to be more seamless. Secondly, the support for python is not updated in the documentation, it is still referencing the old 9.3.x libraries. There are no examples using arcpy. In my opinion, the new releases are being moved too fast. The new releases also need to be patches and service packs not full reinstalls.
