ArcPad @ ESRI European UC 07

Although members of the ArcPad team were unable to make it to Sweden for this years ESRI European User Conference, our friend Peter Malmestrand from ESRI S-GROUP (ESRI's distributor in Sweden), gave a presentation on ArcPad, and ensured that users were kept up to date with whats coming in ArcPad 7.1. Peter says,

"The session went well and the room was crowded. As always at the bigger events, I can see that the interest in ArcPad is increasing from year to year. And it always make me happy to see that there are so many new users who are starting to see the benefits. As well as a lot of existing users who use ArcPad in their work with great progress."

Mobile GIS in Malmö

For those of you that are in or near Sweden, ESRI S-GROUP and Handheld Scandinavia are inviting you to a seminar on the 29 November in Malmö on Mobile GIS Solutions for outdoor environments.

GIS in the field gets bigger and bigger in importance and this is something we (ESRI S-GROUP) want to point out and show in this event. By getting correct data in the system and out in the field, and when used right, GIS can save a lot of time and money for organizations.

During the day we will present the latest technical progress within Mobile GIS including the major release of ArcPad7.1. Come and test rugged devices and hear some successful user examples.
