Shobana has joined the ArcPad team this week and is warmly welcomed.

Her extensive technical experience in all phases of the software development life cycle, including C++ programming for the phone and mobile environments, will be a great enhancement to our development group .

Description: This session will demonstrate new and enhanced capabilities in ArcPad 10, which accelerate deployment of project focused apps for rapid data capture including:

• The QuickCapture toolbar
• Building customized project templates
• Form improvements including repeating attribute values

New Capabilities in Arcpad 10 for Advanced Developers

Description: ArcPad 10 introduces new capabilities for developers to easily build advanced solutions. This demonstration will present and work through some of these capabilities including:

• New Forms capabilities for Related Tables
• User Interface tweaks, such as configuring the Map Navigator
• Working with ArcGIS Online Caches

Welcome Hannah

The ArcPad team warmly welcomes Hannah Ferrier to our ranks.

A forestry graduate from The Australian National University Hannah has gained considerable field GIS experience in the forestry industry in ACT, South Australia and Victoria.

Hannah was also a MAPS volunteer that ably assisted in the aftermath of the devastating 2009 Victorian Black Saturday bushfires.

Her bright and bubbly personality is most welcome.

After some time with ESRI UK , Gareth Walters has decided to return to God's own country.

We are fortunate that Gareth has chosen to join the ArcPad team and bring his first hand ArcPad experience with Local Government and with customer support assistance through system design and software implementation to enhance our testing and user experience programs.

ArcPad Team Welcomes Another New Member

Claire Ge started in ESRI, Redlands last week as an ArcPad Product Specialist. Claire holds a Master Degree in GIS from University of Texas at Dallas. She has experience with ArcGIS, Geodatabase, spatial statistics and data collection. We are glad to have Claire as part of the ArcPad team. She will help us to better support ArcPad, ArcPad customization and to improve testing and documentations.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys sports and outdoor activities.
